Chelsea owner Todd Boehly takes Arsenal lead in firing Graham Potter

Todd Bohly, the owner of Chelsea, appears to have taken a page from Arsenal’s book when it comes to not firing manager Graham Potter.

Mikel Arteta has done an incredible job of bouncing back from adversity and now has his Gunners side atop the Premier League table.

Potter is under immense pressure at the Bridge following a poor run in which they’ve only won two matches out of their last fourteen.

Saturday saw them lose 1-0 at home in Southampton, causing some supporters to call for his sacking.

However, it looks like Boehly wants to give him time like the Arsenal board did with Arteta last season after missing out on Champions League qualification.

Their decision paid off as the Gunners are currently leading the Premier League, two points clear of Manchester City with a game in hand.

Bohly is hoping Potter can follow suit and turn their fortunes around at Stamford Bridge too.

Potter remains adamant that he won’t waver from his methods in spite of all criticism coming his way.
