Former Governor of Enugu State, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, announced on Monday that he has parted ways with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after losing his reelection bid in Enugu East Senatorial District to a Labour Party candidate.

In a statement released in Abuja, Nnamani expressed gratitude to his constituents for their unwavering support throughout his time as Senator and thanked Nigerians in general.

The former Governor expressed hope that his contributions to the constituency would serve as building blocks for future leaders.

He also reaffirmed his acquaintance with President-elect Sen.

Bola Tinubu and expressed optimism that Tinubu’s administration will ensure good governance, rule of law, and human rights for all Nigerians.
