A controversial video of Nasir El-Rufai, the former Governor of Kaduna State, has been circulating online.
In the video, El-Rufai can be seen singing along to a song by Bob Marley.
This comes after El-Rufai was absent from his son’s wedding, as he had reportedly traveled out of the country following the suspension of his ministerial confirmation.
The decision to hold back his confirmation is said to be a result of high-wired politics involving Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Tinubu’s Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu.
These political figures are allegedly concerned about El-Rufai’s potential political influence in the future.
