David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is a well-known Nigerian artiste who just shared the cost of his third studio album, “A Better Time.”
Davido claims to have spent almost $2 million (or roughly 1 billion naira) on the album..
On his media tour for his new album “Timeless” in the US, Davido made this statement.
The singer said that the money was used for features, videos, and promotions when she appeared on the Ebro in the Morning Program on Hot 97FM in New York.
He said, “My last album, I will tell you, I probably spent $2 million. That is for everything. You know what I’m saying?
I haven’t even spent $300k on this album [Timeless]. And I made more already in three days. It just shows me the level of where African music is going.”
