An extraordinary attire worn by award-winning actor Deyemi Okanlawon to a recent occasion in Lagos has raised controversy.
The talented actor and his colleagues were at a movie studio to celebrate the completion of a new film that would supposedly be released later this month.
Yet, the actor’s attire for the event was what drew the most attention, both offline and on social media.
However, many people have reacted negatively to his attire and questioned its style and possible sources of inspiration.
Sharing the outfit on his social media, the actor wrote, “the prophecy of old foretells that in the year 2123 a king will be crowned from the bloodline of the greatest tech warriors of the land. A direct descendent of Oduduwa, he will win every battle, defeat every enemy, rise to become a legend and will be known as the great Yoruba Angel. His name will be OKAN LA WON!”
