Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has been asked to appear before the police alongside six leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) over allegations of conspiracy and public incitement — www.naijnaira.com reports.
According to a letter from the Kaduna State Police Command, the politicians are expected to face investigators at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) on September 8, 2025.
The document was signed by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Uzainu Abdullahi, who instructed the ADC state chairman to make sure the listed leaders honor the invitation.
Those on the list are Bashir Sa’idu, Jafaru Sani, Ubaidullah Mohammed also called “30,” Nasiru Maikano, Aminu Abita, and Ahmed Rufa’i Hussaini, popularly known as “Mikiya.”
“This Department is currently investigating the case involving your members,” the police letter partly stated.
It further added: “You are requested to come along with them to clarify allegations reported against them by the complainants.”
The full details of the accusations were not disclosed, but police officials noted the move was part of ongoing measures to maintain peace in Kaduna.
