Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is urging his team to continue their winning streak after their impressive 6-1 victory over Leeds United.
While the Reds have closed the gap on fourth-placed Newcastle, Klopp is not focusing on the top-four race and admits he is unsure if a place in next season’s Champions League is a realistic aim.
However, he is calling on his squad to build on their recent success and continue playing top football.
Liverpool’s next challenge is against Nottingham Forest at Anfield, and Klopp is hoping his team can maintain their momentum.
“We played a really bad season, but some things are not really to explain and some definitely are and are not acceptable,” Klopp said.
“We have to understand what is possible. I just want us to play top football and win games and we will see where we end up.”
