Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has spoken out strongly against ongoing pressure from fans urging him to get married.
According to a report by TheCable, Falz expressed his frustration via a post on X, where he bluntly addressed the constant marriage questions he receives. The post read: “Any small thing, ‘when are you getting married?’ Can everybody kindly fokofff?”
The 34-year-old artist has often shared personal reflections on relationships and societal expectations. In July 2024, he revealed his doubts about marriage, stating that life as a celebrity makes it hard to picture what an ideal married life would look like.
Falz also mentioned that he hasn’t been in a romantic relationship since 2008, admitting he doesn’t feel emotionally ready. Despite this, he remains open about moments where he has felt strong affection for others, though he has never said “I love you” in a romantic setting.
The conversation intensified earlier this week when the rapper made a controversial remark, stating that “fornication is not a sin.” This comment triggered widespread reactions, particularly from Christian and conservative groups, who referenced biblical scriptures and accused him of promoting views that conflict with moral teachings.
