Google is set to release a major security update for Chrome on desktop and iOS, featuring seven new features.
Four of these features will be available to desktop users, all related to Password Manager software.
The Password Manager will have a new home in Chrome’s Settings menu, allowing users to manage their login credentials and adjust security settings.
Users can also create a desktop shortcut for Google Password Manager.
Additionally, users can write down notes for specific logins and import passwords from third-party managers to Chrome on desktop.
The final three additions, including biometric authentication for desktop and Password Checkup on Chrome for iOS, will be released later in the year.
