Beyoncé’s unreleased music was reportedly stolen from a vehicle in Atlanta during her Cowboy Carter tour stop, NaijNaira can report.
According to CNN, the theft took place on July 8 while Beyoncé was preparing for a four-night run at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The stolen items belonged to her choreographer and a dancer, whose rental Jeep Wagoneer was broken into. The back windows were smashed, and thieves made away with two hard drives containing unreleased tracks, future setlists, and watermarked files.
Also stolen were two laptops, Apple headphones, designer clothing, and confidential tour plans.
Footage from a nearby CCTV camera captured the break-in, prompting police to issue a warrant for a suspect now being sought.
The incident added another layer of tension to Beyoncé’s current tour, which has already faced setbacks, including a stage mishap in Houston.
While performing “16 Carriages” suspended on a car prop, the vehicle unexpectedly tilted mid-air, alarming fans.
“Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop,” Beyoncé was heard saying before calming the crowd and resuming the show.
Her team later confirmed no one was hurt, and the prop was safely lowered.
The Cowboy Carter tour is scheduled to wrap on July 26 in Paradise, Nevada, with Las Vegas as the next stop.
