Harry Kane has praised Thomas Tuchel as a “fantastic coach and a fantastic person” amid speculation linking the former Chelsea manager to the England national team.
The Football Association is in search of a permanent replacement for Gareth Southgate, who has been succeeded by Lee Carsley as interim manager for upcoming Nations League matches.
Reports indicate that the FA has held discussions with Tuchel, who is reportedly open to the role.
Kane shared insights from his time working alongside Tuchel at Bayern Munich last season, emphasizing the high regard he holds for the German coach.
According to Kane, ‘I obviously know Thomas very well from the last year.’ This endorsement appears to lend weight to the FA’s pursuit of Tuchel as they navigate the coaching landscape.
