Speculation is mounting over the future of Manchester United captain Harry Maguire, with Serie A side Inter Milan reportedly enquiring into a loan move for the centre-back.
It has been reported that Maguire has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford following the arrival of new manager Erik ten Hag, who prefers a partnership of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez in defence.
The England international has so far managed just five appearances this season.
As Inter Milan prepare to lose their own captain, Milan Skriniar, when his pre-contract agreement with Paris Saint-Germain comes into effect, they are now searching for a replacement and have identified Maguire as a suitable candidate.
However, it remains to be seen if Manchester United will accept this offer after previously rejecting an approach from the club for Victor Lindelof.
