Heritage Bank has announced the appointment of Akinola George-Taylor as its new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.
The appointment was approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria on March 31, and George-Taylor will be taking over from Ifie Sekibo.
George-Taylor had previously been serving as the Acting Managing Director/CEO since September 12, 2022.
In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing the bank’s operations across Nigeria and implementing its next phase of transformation.
The announcement was made by Ozena Utulu, the Group Head of Corporate Communications for Heritage Bank.
