The Concerned APC Stakeholders, an All Progressives Congress group, is accusing individuals within President Muhammadu Buhari’s government of sabotaging Bola Tinubu’s presidential campaign.
Specifically named are the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Group Managing Director of the NNPCL, Meleye Kyari and members of the APC National Working Committee.
The Ministers and political appointees as well as governors from the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) have also been blamed for affecting Tinubu’s low acceptability rate.
The party’s stakeholders applauded PGF for their role in zoning the presidential ticket to the South but noted that governing style has not been beneficial to Tinubu’s campaign either.
Furthermore, they accused NPCPL GMD of sidelining party members from decision making which they say has had a negative effect on fundraising efforts.
The NWC were also faulted for being unhelpful in mobilizing support for Tinubu’s candidacy.
