American singer, Madison Beer has openly discussed her attempt to commit suicide after her naked photos were posted online without her permission in 2014, when she was just 15 years old.
The singer who was discovered by Justin Bieber when he shared one of her singing YouTube videos, entered limelight in 2012 when she was just 13 years old.
A few years later, she encountered a highly upsetting circumstance when an unauthorised naked film of her was posted online.
According to sources, the incident was not addressed by Madison until International Women’s Day in 2020 in a lengthy Twitter statement in which she stated that she had known the boy “for years.”
She wrote:
“I probably was even maybe 14, 13 in some of the videos that exist.
Of course, as a young girl, there was a boy that I liked from back home. And when I was sort of already in LA a bit, going back and forth, I started sending videos of myself to him — as I think a lot of people do.
“I think I was in bed or something and someone had sent it to me and was like… ‘I just got this sent to me
“crisis mode” and couldn’t believe what was going on. “I reached out to the person who posted it and begged them to delete it, and they just blocked me. Straight up, just blocked me immediately.”
