Ighalo Sets Saudi League Goal Record After Outscoring Cristiano Ronaldo

Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo has outscored Portuguese professional footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi League goals race after netting a brace in Al Hilal’s 4-0 win over Al Taawon.

The former Super Eagles center forward scored his 10th and 11th goals of the season during the match to bring his tally up to 15 games played.

However, it is still Brazilian duo Anderson Talisca Conceicao and Carlos Alberto who lead for the highest number of goals with 13 each.

Outside of soccer, Ighalo dedicated his latest feat to his mother as a birthday gift expressing it on Instagram: “That was for you MAMA. Happy birthday to my sweet mother”.
