The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has made public the list of candidates and parties for the upcoming Kogi State Governorship election, set to take place on November 11, 2023.
Among the candidates are Usman Ahmed Ododo and Suleman A. Abdullahi of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Dino Melaiye and Habibatu Deen of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Olayinka Braimoh and Simon Ogwu of the Action Alliance (AA). Other candidates include Leke Abejide and Dauda Ismaila Onuonoza of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Mubarak Musa and Tenimu Idris of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), and Okeme Adejoh and Ocheja Edogbo Sunday of the Labour Party (LP).
The Social Democratic Party (SDP) ticket has Sheik Ibrahim Jibrin and Ajodo Damian Monday.
INEC had previously announced that the personal particulars of the candidates would be published in the state headquarters and local government offices on Friday.
