JAMB has announced that the 2023 Mock UTME, previously scheduled for Thursday, March 16th, 2023, will now be held on Thursday, March 30th instead.

The change of date was made due to the newly announced Governorship and State Houses of Assembly Elections, which were pushed back from Saturday, March 11th to Friday, March 18th.

This optional exam is designed to give prospective candidates a chance to get hands-on experience with JAMB’s system before the main UTME which will be happening from April 29th to May 12th.

A total of 168,748 registered for this year’s mock UTME out of 1.5 million potential candidates, comprising groups from all 36 Nigerian states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to JAMB’s statement, there will also be some groundbreaking innovations to address observed infractions and centre failures such as a delay in session commencement resulting in cancellation followed by rescheduling.
