According to ComingSoon, Disney dropped the TikTok video to push the film’s theatrical run, mixing Curtis’ playful introduction with scenes from the comedy sequel.
The 66-year-old actress addressed fans directly, saying, “Come see Freakier Friday… the same level of nostalgia, joy, laughter, happiness, tears, and friendships are being enjoyed again now 22 years later.”
She added, “You’re going to join with a big group of people who are finding something really sweet at the end of the summer to remind them what it is to be alive.”
The sequel, which reunites Curtis and Lindsay Lohan as Tess and Anna Coleman, is already pulling strong audience numbers with a 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
