Arsenal midfielder Jorginho may only be six months into his deal but speculation is already mounting that he could face an early exit due to four players.
Just this week, the Italian joined Arsenal and was never supposed to stay for a long-term stint.
Only signing an 18-month contract with the option of another year, Jorginho could be looking to move away from Arsenal sooner than expected if all goes to plan.
Plans which include Mikel Arteta’s pursuit of landing West Ham’s Declan Rice and Brighton’s Moises Caicedo, both of whom would add to their midfield congestion once signed.
Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny are also key factors here, as Partey won’t be leaving anytime soon, while Elneny has an option in his contract that’ll be triggered when he returns from an injury rehabilitation process.
With so many possible names in the same position competing all of a sudden, transfer writers believe it’s very likely that we’ll see Jorginho moving back to Italy soon even if he wins the title with Arsenal this season.
