Kanye West Explodes and Walks Out of Piers Morgan Interview

Kanye West, known legally as Ye, abruptly ended an interview with Piers Morgan during an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored after a minor mistake by Morgan about Ye’s follower count on X (formerly Twitter). The interview, which took place virtually from Mallorca, took an unexpected turn when Morgan incorrectly stated that Ye had 32 million followers on the platform. Ye quickly corrected him, revealing that he actually had 33.3 million followers at the time.

According to The Independent, the tension escalated when Ye, visibly frustrated, responded, “You’re not gonna take inches off my d***, bro.” The conversation then briefly shifted to a discussion about Ye’s actual number of followers, with him demanding that Morgan’s team correct the error.

Ye continued to rant about the media, criticizing the lack of respect for his music, and making comparisons to music legends like John Lennon and Michael Jackson. “I mean, why do all you people in media act like you haven’t played my songs at your weddings or graduations or at funerals, and when your child was born, you know, you take somebody that’s living like a [John] Lennon, a Michael Jackson, and you just take all this time to, like that nuance right there, it’s idiotic,” Ye said.

After just a couple of minutes of back-and-forth, Ye walked off, telling Morgan, “We can circle back when you can count.” Morgan tried to continue the conversation with Ye’s friend Sneako, but both men ultimately left the interview. Morgan responded with sharp words, calling Ye a “snivelling, little coward,” and making remarks about him being an antisemite and a “Hitler worshipper.”

The abrupt end of the interview left many viewers confused, with some expressing disbelief that such a small issue—Ye’s follower count—caused the conversation to collapse.
