Lagos State Governor, Bababjide Sanwo-Olu, has made his first appointments since taking office, re-appointing Tayo Ayinde as Chief of Staff and appointing Barr. Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin as Secretary to the State Government.
Salu-Hundeyin, a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, takes over from the former SSG, Mrs. Folashade Jaji.
The Governor is expected to announce further appointments to form the State Executive Council soon, with reports suggesting that around 70% of the previous executive will be returning for the second term.
Notable returnees include Gbenga Omotoso, Moruf Akinderu-Fatai, Engr Aramide Adeyoye, and Tokunbo Wahab, while Tunji Bello, the Commissioner for Environment and former SSG, is expected to take up a federal appointment in Abuja.
