Lily Allen admits that she often forgets to eat since she doesn’t actually get hungry and that her philosophy on food and eating is “kind of rather anti-capitalist.”
Lily Allen has admitted that when caring for her two young children, she occasionally forgets to eat.
In a recent podcast, the 37-year-old singer-turned-actress acknowledges that while she “loves food,” she sometimes finds it difficult to remember to eat regularly because her stomach “sometimes goes long distances without eating.”
According to her she said:
“I’m actually really bad… I don’t really get hungry,” she said during the Off Menu podcast when talking about her dream three-course meal. “It’s when I see food I’m like ‘oh yeah I should eat‘.
She added: “I think basically my stomach goes quite long distances without eating then it has a little bit and it goes ‘yes‘
I love food. I love eating, but I’m just not very good at remembering to do things. I get up in the morning and I’m looking after kids and I just forget.”
