President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made several appointments since his inauguration as Nigeria’s leader.
Among his first set of appointments are Kunle Adeleke as the State Chief of Protocol, Victor Adekunle Adeleke as the Special Adviser on Digital Media, Femi Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff, Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia as Deputy Chief of Staff, George Akume as Secretary to the Government of the Federation, and Nosa Semota as Tinubu’s personal photographer.
Adeleke, a diplomat and statesman with experience in international relations and diplomacy, replaces Hussaini Adamu as the State Chief of Protocol.
Dada, the former Head of Digital Communications of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), takes over from Kano-born Bashir Ahmad as Special Adviser on Digital Media.
Gbajabiamila, the speaker of the house of Representatives, was confirmed as Chief of Staff on June 2, while Hadejia, a former Deputy Governor of Jigawa state and elected senator representing Jigawa Northeast district, was named Deputy Chief of Staff.
Akume, a former governor of Benue state, Northcentral Nigeria, emerged as Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
Semota, Tinubu’s personal photographer during the electioneering for the 2023 general elections, continues in his role.
