Liverpool have recently enquired to sign Eintracht Frankfurt’s £27m-rated winger, Jesper Lindstrom.
Reports suggest that Arsenal have also contacted the Danish international although no official bid has been made just yet.
Mykhailo Mudryk was missed out on by the Gunners and therefore they are expected to broaden their search for a winger this month.
Meanwhile Liverpool have already signed Cody Gakpo which could make a move for Lindstrom unlikely due to the Merseyside club now having plenty of options in the wide-attacking area.
The 22-year-old has adjusted to his new role in central attacking and while Lindstrom is an admirer of Liverpool, it may be better if he joins Arsenal or another club due to Klopp’s current midfield issue which means signing another player who mainly plays out wide would be unusual.
