Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye says his heart remains with Udinese and he is not currently considering a move, even amid reported interest from AC Milan and Bournemouth.
Okoye has been a key player for Udinese this season, attracting attention from top clubs. The 25-year-old has made 24 appearances in Serie A, conceding 37 goals while maintaining four clean sheets.
With a save rate of 64% and averaging 2.7 saves per match, Okoye’s performances have helped him regain his form after a difficult period during his time at Watford.
At a recent fan meet-and-greet event, Okoye addressed questions about his future, saying, “I am one of you, I am a black and white player, and I am happy to be here.” He added that his focus is entirely on Udinese, with the club and fans close to his heart.
Although a move to AC Milan or the Premier League would represent a step up, Okoye’s priority is to continue developing his game. His earlier stint at Sparta Rotterdam showed his potential, and he now aims to maintain consistent performances at the highest level.
If guaranteed first-team football, a transfer could be appealing in the future. For now, Maduka Okoye remains fully dedicated to Udinese’s cause.
