Manchester United are in search of a new first-choice goalkeeper, with uncertainty surrounding David de Gea’s future at the club.
Inter Milan’s Andre Onana has emerged as a transfer target for the Red Devils, but they have been informed that they will need to pay a fee in the region of €60m (£52m) to secure his services.
Onana, who is under contract with Inter until June 2027, previously played under Man United head coach Erik ten Hag at Ajax and has been in impressive form, keeping 19 clean sheets in 41 competitive appearances in his first season with the Italian club.
While Man United have also been linked with other goalkeepers, including Diogo Costa and David Raya, they will need to make a decision soon as De Gea’s contract is set to expire in less than a week.
