Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has dismissed reports that he is seeking a £500,000-a-week deal to stay at the club.
The 25-year-old, who has scored 27 goals in 44 games this season, is due to be out of contract at the end of next season.
The Daily Star had claimed that Rashford’s future at United was uncertain due to the club’s ongoing sale and his wage demands.
However, Rashford took to Twitter to deny the claims, stating that he and the club have been respectful to each other and that his focus is on finishing the season strongly and winning trophies.
Rashford’s impressive goal tally this season has only been bettered by Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland in Europe’s top five leagues.
United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that the club is working on tying down Rashford to a new contract.
