Napoli are reportedly set to offer their star forward Victor Osimhen a contract extension in an attempt to fend off interest from top European clubs.
Osimhen and teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia have formed an impressive partnership this season, with the duo scoring 24 Serie A goals between them.
Napoli’s Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli has been interacting with representatives of both Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia in recent weeks with the intention of keeping both players at the club beyond this season.
The Italian side are keen to extend Osimhen’s current deal by at least one year, as well as provide him with increased wages including various add-ons.
On the other hand, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia already has a long contract until 2027 but is expected to receive a significant salary increase at the end of this campaign as a reward for his exceptional performance.
