The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Nigeria has issued a scam alert, warning citizens about fraudulent recruitment activities.

According to a statement released by the NDLEA and reported by Legit.ng, the agency emphasized that any information regarding recruitment will only be shared on its official website and social media pages at the appropriate time.

The NDLEA expressed concern over the activities of scammers who are taking advantage of unsuspecting individuals. The agency urged the public to be cautious and to always verify information with authorized personnel before applying for any positions.

In response to the scam alert, the NDLEA took to its verified social media handles to inform the public about the situation.

The agency posted on its official Twitter handle, formerly known as X, stating, “Scam alert! Kindly disregard any information making the rounds that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA is currently recruiting. Please note that information about recruitment will only be shared on our official website: http://ndlea.gov.ng and our social media handles @ndlea_nigeria on YouTube, WhatsApp, Twitter and @ndlea01 on Facebook at the appropriate time. Thanks.”
