Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid’s new signing, played a crucial role in their 3-1 victory over Almeria in La Liga.

Bellingham scored two goals, adding to his debut goal last weekend, to help his team come from behind and maintain their perfect start to the season.

Vinicius Junior sealed the victory with the third goal, assisted by Bellingham.

Despite the absence of Karim Benzema, Bellingham has quickly made an impact with three goals in his first two games.

He has taken on the number five shirt previously worn by Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane.

Real Madrid started with Toni Kroos and Antonio Rudiger instead of Eduardo Camavinga and the injured Eder Militao.

Andriy Lunin continued in goal, despite the arrival of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea.

Bellingham’s equalizer survived a VAR check for offside and handball.

He proved to be a challenging presence for Almeria with his size and skill in the box.

Kroos initially put Madrid ahead with a classy finish, but the goal was disallowed due to a foul.

Bellingham eventually gave Madrid the lead with a header from Kroos’s cross.

The victory was secured when Bellingham set up Vinicius for a deflected strike.

With six points from their first two games, Madrid temporarily sits at the top of La Liga, ahead of Valencia on goal difference.
