There are indications that Nicolas Pepe’s future at Arsenal is uncertain, as several clues have been dropped suggesting that he could be among four players leaving the club.
During the Emirates Cup clash, two of Arsenal’s summer signings, Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice, started the game while Pepe was not named in the squad and his name was also missing from the matchday programme.
Besiktas, a Turkish club, has been linked with Pepe, who spent last season on loan with Nice in France.
Another player, Nuno Tavares, a Portuguese left-back, was also absent from both the matchday programme and Arteta’s squad, and there have been rumors of a potential move to Galatasaray.
Additionally, midfielder Alber Sambi Lokonga has been linked with a move to Burnley, and his name was also missing.
Finally, academy graduate Arthur Okonkwo has been linked with a transfer, and it seems he may be allowed to leave on a permanent basis.
