Nigeria’s men’s basketball team will compete in Group C alongside Rwanda, Guinea, and Tunisia in the FIBA World Cup 2027 qualifiers.
The tournament will kick off in November 2025, with teams across Africa battling for a spot in the prestigious global event.
According to the FIBA draw held in May 2025, Rwanda earned their place in the qualifiers after securing a spot in AfroBasket 2025, set to take place in Angola from August 12-24, 2025.
The World Cup qualifiers will span six windows from November 2025 to March 2027, featuring 420 games worldwide.
