Nigerian Chef Hilda Effiong Bassey Cooks Nonstop for 100 Hours to Set World Record

Nigerian chef Hilda Effiong Bassey has made headlines after cooking nonstop for 100 hours in an attempt to set a world record.

Known on social media as Hilda Baci, Bassey created over 55 recipes and more than 100 meals to showcase the best of Nigerian cuisine.

Her motivation for attempting the record was to put Nigerian food on the map and propagate more recipes to encourage people to try it.

Despite the lack of sleep, Bassey remained in high spirits and was supported by fans who traveled from far and wide to cheer her on.

The Guinness world record committee still needs to confirm if all criteria have been met for Bassey to become the record holder, but her achievement has already opened doors to the African food market and inspired others to pursue their dreams.
