The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has made a strong statement to politicians, declaring that there will be no vacancy in the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in 2027. In his address, he accused the leadership of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) of aiming for the nation’s seat of power.

However, Ganduje emphasized that the seat is not vacant as President Bola Tinubu will continue in office during that time. During a solidarity visit in Abuja, the former Kano State Governor also accused the incumbent state government of the NNPP in Kano State of orchestrating protests and calls for his removal as the APC National Chairman.

He expressed his belief that these actions were driven by fear, as the APC is consolidating and gaining new members across the country. Ganduje urged APC members and supporters to remain steadfast and committed to the party’s progress. He criticized the diversion of attention by the Kano State government, stating that instead of addressing the needs and demands of the people, they were engaging in political propaganda against the APC.

The APC National Chairman denounced the actions of those sponsoring dissident protests against the party, claiming that they were a small, defeated party. He described them as a mixture of failed politicians and emphasized the division within their ranks.

Ganduje concluded by reaffirming his support for President Bola Tinubu, expressing his confidence that Tinubu would continue as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2027.
