Despite missing several good chances during Nigeria’s recent match against Guinea-Bissau, Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has praised Victor Osimhen as the “best striker in Europe.”
Osimhen, who has been in excellent form for Napoli this season, has struggled to replicate his club performances for the national team.
Peseiro believes that Osimhen feels more pressure while playing for the Super Eagles than he does for his club, which may explain his recent struggles in front of goal.
Despite this, Osimhen is currently the joint top goal scorer in the qualifiers with five goals.
