Manchester United were linked with a move for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen over the summer and those links resurfaced once more following Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit from the club in November, but the Nigerian ace has now revealed where his future lies for now.
Osimhen has claimed that he intends to remain with Napoli at least until the end of the season in order to fulfill his dream of winning a trophy with the Serie A leaders.
The Napoli striker was linked with a move to United during the summer and those links have popped up once more following Ronaldo’s departure.
However, Osimhen has pledged his immediate future to the Italian giants, telling Il Matino: “It’s one of the best clubs in Europe and I want to win here. The future is this moment, try to win something relevant in Italy.
“It’s hard to think about something better than Napoli, one of the best clubs in Italy, right now. I am only focused on this season because we haven’t done anything yet. We must win something and then we’ll see what happens.”
