Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is set to lose something really big and dear to him at his Seria A side, Napoli.
His current head coach, Luciano Spalletti, will be leaving the club in the coming weeks, and it has been confirmed by president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
Spalletti requested a sabbatical year, allowing him to resign from his role with one year left on his contract.
As Napoli looks for a suitable replacement, reports suggest they are focused on appointing Luis Enrique as their new head coach, offering a two-year contract worth €10m net per season.
De Laurentiis is also willing to guarantee the futures of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen to further convince Enrique to make the move.
If they fail to secure Enrique, Napoli will consider other targets such as Thiago Motta and Vincenzo Italiano.
