Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is on the cusp of unlocking a significant financial clause in his contract with Napoli that could grant him a bonus of €130,130.
According to his contract, once he scores his 20th goal of the season either in Serie A or Europa League, he will receive the bonus from Napoli’s pockets.
Having already scored 18 goals across both these leagues, he only needs one more to reach his milestone for this financial incentive.
On top of that, should he score 25 goals before the end of the season, he will have unlocked another similar bonus.
To date, Osimhen has been on fire in both competitions and currently holds the record for being the top scorer with 18 goals in 19 appearances in Serie A alone.
With such incredible form and 8 straight goal-scoring matches under his belt – including a stunning strike in Napoli’s 2-0 win over Sassuolo – all signs point to Osimhen meeting or exceeding this upcoming milestone soon.
