Paul Adefarasin, the General Overseer of House on the Rock, took to Instagram to share the news of the passing of his mother, Mrs. Hilda Joanne Adefarasin (nee Petgrave).
She died peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at the age of 98.
The clergyman announced that his mother will be greatly missed by her children and grandchildren, as well as her beloved husband who she doted over.
The statement further asked for privacy from the public as they grieve and make arrangements for her funeral.
This saddened death coincidentally happened only a few weeks after Pastor Paul Adefarasin celebrated his 60th birthday anniversary and shortly after he lost his father in 1989 – Justice Joseph Adetunji Adefarasin, former Chief Judge of Lagos State.
