Leloonu Nwibubasa, a spokesman for the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, has dismissed the existence of Governor Nyesom Wike-led Integrity Group, commonly known as G-5.
In an interview with Punch newspaper, Nwibubasa stated that Governor Wike is fabricating the support from the so-called Integrity Group to create the impression that he enjoys backing from them.
He continued by referencing former Plateau state governor Jonah Jang and expressed that Jang has thrown his weight behind Atiku Abubakar.
Additionally, in Abia or Enugu state and Benue state, heads of government have also expressed their favor and endorsement of Atiku Abubakar’s candidacy and urged citizens to vote him into office.
“When Wike keeps saying “I have the G-5,” it is a mind game. I want to say clearly to the people that there is no G-5. What we have is a one G,” concluded Leloonu Nwibubasa.
