Aisha Yesufu, a co-founder of the Bring Back Our Girls movement and a strong supporter of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has announced that her YouTube channel has been taken down.
She did not disclose the reason for the removal, but YouTube regularly removes channels that violate its operational policy.
Yesufu’s channel was taken down just two days after President Bola Tinubu was sworn in on May 29.
“My YouTube channel has been taken down by YouTube so let me advertise my other business here. For business, I no dey fight anyone,” she wrote.
Yesufu stated that it is not Peter Obi’s responsibility to instruct citizens to protest, and that everyone has a role to play in making their voices heard.
She encouraged people to take action and not make excuses.
