Richarlison might have missed out on legendary status as Brazil were knocked out of the World Cup by Croatia, but his tattooist wasn’t so sure.
Now out injured for Spurs and taking a back seat as the World Cup reaches its conclusion, the Tottenham striker doesn’t want to forget his Doha experience any time soon, so has decided to get it immortalised.
Posing with a stencil on his back before the arduous process of getting inked begins, Richarlison showed off a gigantic back tattoo with Brazil greats Ronaldo, Neymar, and himself…
Despite the odd choice to include his own face on his ‘Mount Rushmore back’, the artwork is still rather spectacular, and features what appears to be a young fan in a Richarlison shirt looking over favelas.
It also contains the message ‘you made Brazil smile, Pele’ in reference to a comment the all-time great left on Richarlison’s Instagram following the country’s World Cup exit.
Richarlison was lucky enough to spend time with both of the other faces on his tattoo, playing alongside Neymar while being interviewed by Ronaldo.
The 25-year-old former Everton and Watford forward will now have time to recover from the tattoo, having picked up a hamstring injury in the quarter-final defeat which is expected to keep him out for at least a month.
