The journalism industry sadly said goodbye to popular photojournalist Femi Kuti, who died on Friday after a long and difficult battle with kidney disease.
Kuti had been in the field for over two decades, impressing everyone with his photography skills.
Kunle Awosiyan, a veteran photographer himself and former colleague of Kuti’s, paid tribute to the departed journalist on his Facebook page.
He described Kuti as a kind soul who was naturally warm and never asked questions before making friends.
Awosiyan remembered their time working together fondly, though he lamented that they all arrived too late with medical help.
He prayed that the family left behind would not suffer during this difficult time.
