A Premier League footballer is under investigation by the police over multiple allegations of sex offences, including rape.
The player was first arrested in the summer of 2022 at an address in west London on suspicion of rape.

On Thursday, November 7, the player attended a police station and was interviewed under caution regarding allegations of raping two women and committing sexual offences against a third woman.

During his detention, additional allegations surfaced, leading to his further arrest on suspicion of two more rapes that were alleged to have occurred in April and June 2021.
In February 2023, the player was arrested again on suspicion of a sexual offence dating back to February 2022.
The investigation remains ongoing, with detectives conducting “in-depth and detailed enquiries.”
The police are continuing to offer support to the women who have come forward with allegations.
The player has not been named, and the football club has not publicly commented on the matter.
