President Bola Tinubu has expressed his deepest condolences to the family of Comrade Ali Chiroma, the former president of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), who passed away recently.
The news of Chiroma’s demise was reported by The Will, stating that he died at the age of 91 at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.
In a statement issued through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngalale, President Tinubu sympathized with the Chiroma family, the organized labor community, and all those affected by this painful loss.
He acknowledged the significant contributions of the late Chiroma during his tenure as the NLC president from 1984 to 1988.
