Former Central Bank Governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi recently met with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja.
Sanusi, who is also the 14th Emir of Kano, arrived at the Villa just before 5:00 pm.
The purpose of their meeting has not been disclosed, but it comes shortly after the President suspended the previous Governor of Nigeria’s central bank, Godwin Emefiele.
This was the first meeting between the two men since Tinubu became President on May 29.
