President Tinubu’s aide has provided an update on the long-awaited ministerial list, stating that it will be released this week.

The Nigerian Senate is expecting to receive the list before the end of the 60-day constitutional deadline.

President Tinubu, who was sworn in as president in May, is required to submit his ministerial list to the Senate by July 2023.

The Senate spokesperson has assured that there is enough time to screen the nominees within the stipulated time.

“Ministers’ list will be out this week. Let’s wait till the names are out.”

The senators are prepared to tackle the challenges of legislating for the country and ensuring good governance under Tinubu’s presidency.

However, there have been reports that the ministerial list has not yet been received by the Senate, with a senator stating that the chamber is not in possession of the list.
