Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo, has completed her wedding celebration with Tanzanian music sensation Juma Jux in a spectacular event held in Dar es Salaam.
According to reports, the final leg of their elaborate wedding journey took place on May 28, 2025, drawing guests from across Africa and beyond. Dubbed the ‘African Royal Wedding,’ the ceremony marked the last chapter in a months-long celebration that began earlier in the year.
“The day is here. I am so happy and excited. I believe everybody is ready. I am saying that because today, we received over 150 foreigners in Tanzania because of JP2025,” Jux said, expressing gratitude for the massive turnout.
Glamour, Guests and Cultural Splendour
The couple appeared in elegant matching white outfits, with Priscilla wearing a flowing gown detailed with traditional embellishments. Jux complemented her look with a classic white coat and matching cap.
Family and celebrity friends flew in for the occasion, including actress Funke Akindele, who added a touch of humor as she introduced herself to the groom in her playful style. The bride’s mother, Iyabo Ojo, wore a radiant gold outfit and offered heartfelt advice to the newlyweds.
Surprise Gift and Emotional Moments
Later in the evening, Priscilla dazzled in a pink gown while Jux opted for a pink and black ensemble. During the reception, Jux serenaded his bride with soulful Tanzanian ballads, creating an atmosphere filled with emotion and romance.
The highlight of the night came when Jux surprised Priscilla with a brand-new Range Rover. The gesture moved the bride to tears, while Iyabo Ojo praised her new son-in-law, calling him “Odogwu” in admiration.
The Priscilla Ojo wedding celebration began on February 7 with a traditional Tanzanian ceremony. This was followed by a civil wedding, also in Tanzania. The couple later held events in Nigeria before returning to wrap up with this grand finale in Jux’s home country.
