Arsenal are reportedly showing an interest in young Real Valladolid midfielder Ivan Fresneda, who is valued at £10-15million.
The Gunners could find themselves in competition with Newcastle United for his signature and it appears the deal may take place either this January or during the summer window.
Manager Sergio Gonzalez has labelled Fresneda as “fantastic,” so it would be a good transfer if Arsenal could pull it off.
Should Cedric Soares opt to join Fulham then Arsene Wenger will certainly need to strengthen his squad with a top attacking talent over the winter period.
And, considering how strong Manchester City are expected to finish the season and that Arsenal are currently at the top of the Premier League table, Wenger will certainly take this transfer speculation seriously.
